35-min Yoga Practice – Yoga for an Open Heart

Heart openers are some of my favorite postures to practice because they’re in opposition to how I spend the majority of my days during the week — hunched over my computer. I’m sure that most of you have been there before: your head is jutting forward, your shoulders ache, and your lower back hurts. It’s not pretty! This is why I find myself practicing heart openers more often these days.

In this 35-minute practice, I quickly go over the importance of arcing up and over in your backbends versus going straight back. Then, we get into the practice. You’ll want to have two blocks or two water bottles handy.
