About
I’m Michelle Cawley — a published author, spiritual leader, and Yoga Teacher. I believe everyone has the power to create a life they love. Yoga is an amazing vehicle for making this happen.
Before I became a certified yoga teacher, I struggled with infertility and eventually chose to live childfree. During those difficult times, the healing powers of the asana and meditation practices brought me a sense of inner peace, understanding of self, and acceptance of situations outside of my control.
The practice of yoga has taught me so much about myself and the human experience. It helped me tap into my true voice. It challenged me to be ok with the uncomfortable. It brought me home to my authentic self. It helped me accept my past, and embrace the unknown with my arms and heart wide open.
A few years ago, my spiritual advisor informed me that I’m a spiritual leader, teacher, and guide and that I need to get my message out in the world. And so, that’s what I’m doing.
I'm trained in vinyasa flow, hatha yoga, restorative yoga, breathwork, meditation, and Reiki energy healing. I teach because it’s one of the many ways I live in alignment with my highest calling.
Won’t you join me for the ride?
Big love,
Michelle
A little bit more about me
I’m a truth seeker and speaker. I’m not going to sugarcoat the unpleasant. It’s not my style. I say it like it is. Period.
I’ve been told countless times that my voice is soothing and that my energy is grounding — both important skills to have when relating with others.
I have an uncanny knack for making people feel safe enough to open up about things they’re not willing to admit to themselves or anyone else.
I’m a free spirit who loves to defy what is.
Going through infertility sucks! Choosing to live childfree is not easy either. I’ve experienced both and I’m here for you. Seriously. Reach out.
Naps are my jam — in a hammock, on the beach, or in a restorative yoga posture. Add a lavender eye pillow and soothing music, and I’m all set for a relaxing catnap.
Oftentimes I travel alone because I enjoy the solitude, the challenge of being uncomfortable, and the joy gained from inspiring other women to experience solo travel for themselves.
I freakin’ love to spend time in the wilderness hiking, backpacking, and camping. It’s how I recharge.
Yoga is the path forward, my friend.
The practice of yoga gives us the tools we need to find ease in the most challenging moments and to celebrate the highs in equal measure. Join me, won’t you?
